Before the developers begin writing the software, a functional concept is created. This document serves as an instructory guide for the programmers and describes the specifications of the software. This text often contains both technical terminology and general language.

In the text we translated for Stream, the challenge was in the actual translation project. This was due to the fact that the texts were delivered to us in the form of .asp source code.

Stream wanted to have a section of its web page content translated into Spanish, French, German and Italian.

In the translation of a web page of a service provider of this kind, it is important that the translator is able to write customer-oriented texts and at the same time work in a hard-to-edit format such as, for example, .aspx and .PHP. Translators use special software such as TagEditor and Trados to edit web pages.

The final result was a healthy text that reads excellently.
