Physics: Professional translations with the highest quality

Physics is the scientific discipline that deals with matter and energy, and how these two entities interact with each other. Energy in general can assume a variety of forms. Motion, light, electricity, radiation, and gravity are the most important forms of energy. The matter being explored in physics adopts varying magnitudes at different scales, from sub-atomic particles to planets and whole galaxies. It goes without saying that a significant area of expertise such as physics is also becoming increasingly important in regard to translations. No matter whether we translate your physical documents for construction plans, complicated research tools, or complex articles - these are completed quickly and professionally. Our native-speaking translators possess relevant knowledge of physics and translate for you into and out of more than 150 languages. Send us your document to be translated today via email or via the request form on the right hand side and we will create a quote for you. Our experienced project managers can also advise you by telephone.

How physics works

As experimental science, physics (formulated as starting from observations of natural phenomena), makes hypotheses about how certain operations take place in the world. These hypotheses are validated by experiments and measurements and in best cases can be confirmed or refuted. The goal of physics is to use the results of experiments, laws of nature, to formulate expressions in the language of mathematics which are used to predict other phenomena.

The role of physics in science

In a broader sense, physics can be described as the most fundamental science of all sciences. Chemistry, for example, can be considered a complex application of physics because it is focused on the interaction of energy and matter in chemical systems. We also know that biology, at its core essence, is the application of chemical characteristics within living beings which means that biology, too, is ultimately based on the laws of physics.

Branches of physics

Because physics as a discipline is a very large field, it is divided into different areas. These include, for example, electronics, quantum physics, astronomy, and thermodynamics. This splitting of physics into different areas or academic disciplines was not always the case. Brilliant physicists such as Leibniz and Newton, understood as universal scholars, made significant findings in many areas. Newton's work, correctly described the basic operations of movement and gravity accurately for the first time in history and had the descriptive name of Philosophiae Naturalis Principia Mathematica, and therefore saw itself as a part of the field of study of philosophy. Physics today is split into several areas, simply due to the fact that this knowledge is so massive that a single man never could cope with all its different disciplines, even if he would spend his whole life devoted to mastery of this overview.

Experienced translator in the field of physics

Language mastery alone is not sufficient if a complex translation is required. In this case, the translator must be able to follow the content and know the terminology. Therefore, only high-quality translations are produced. Our translations are only completed by mother tongue translators with expertise in the field of physics See for yourself and contact us today.
